Short bio for jonathan eppstein, founder and ceo of RedBird LED, Inc.

       I hold degrees in electrical engineering, electro-optics and mathematics. In my career as a serial entrepreneur, I’ve invented new technologies in medical diagnostics, pharmaceutical drug development, lidar, and LED lighting. I hold more than 40 US and 200 international issued patents. I won an Emmy for my Lidar work with ESPN. On a personal note, I love our four dogs, pickle-ball, windsurfing, woodworking, metalworking and restoring my ‘64 T-bird convertible.

      While earning my college degrees, I also worked as head of restoration for the Gilmore Car Museum where I had the privilege of executing a concours winning restoration on a ‘29 Duesenberg and produced an award-winning documentary film of the process.  The common thread linking this eclectic background is that all have sharpened my appreciation for attention to detail, the value of not cutting corners and providing the highest level of customer support.
